Adopting a child in the UK the legal process where adopters take parental responsibility for a child. Once the court has approved the adoption, the child gains the right of a natural child.
To be considered for adoption in the UK, you nee to fulfil three criteria:
- You need to be at least 21 years old
- You need to live in the UK
- You can not have been convicted of certain criminal offences
